Armahda
Armahda Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
They swore allegiance
And we wont forget
History repeats itself
The land and sea through the storms
Shall duel
Behind the curtain
The marshall stands
Under command
Their cannons are facing
The end
Moments of glory
We'll always remember
Marines are about to conquer
Tyrants will fall
Our nation will stand tall
We shall pass
Armahda
The power drew him away from the light
Yes, I could see it
Through his eyes
The sentinel, he was to meant to lead
But its our fate
We own he seas
Come ride the waves
Prepare the ships
No turning back, attack, resist
Leave us our
Join our side
Moments of glory
We´ll always remember
Marines are about to conquer
Tyrants will fall
Our nation will stand tall
We shall pass
Armahda
Agonia, peste e miséria
Mentiras de almirantes que afundam a nação
Os que outrora lutam ao meu lado
Falam em liberdade.
E eu lhes digo
Não!
Moments of glory
We'll always remember
Marines are about to conquer
Tyrants will fall
Our nation will stand tall
We shall pass
Armahda
The lyrics to Armahda's song Armahda recount a story of resistance and triumph against oppressive forces. The first verse speaks of hushed voices and bleeding, indicating a silencing and violence inflicted upon a group of people who have sworn allegiance to something. History is said to repeat itself, and it seems that the people of this group are once again facing a powerful enemy who is ready to attack. The marshall, who is meant to be a leader, is described as standing behind the curtain with "fake patriots" under his command, suggesting that this is an unfair and unjust situation. But the group of people is determined to resist, and the lyricist writes that they will always remember moments of glory as they prepare to conquer their enemies.
The second verse of the song takes a more personal turn as the writer describes the power that drew someone away from the light. This could be a metaphor for corruption or evil, and the writer implies that he could see it through the person's eyes. The sentinel, who was meant to lead, is instead overpowered by those who control the seas. But the writer calls on the people to leave their oppressive leaders and join their side.
The chorus of the song repeats the phrase "moments of glory" and speaks of tyrants falling and the nation standing tall. "Armahda" seems to be a rallying cry for the group of people who have faced oppression and are now ready to resist and fight back.
