Arnob studied at Patha Bhavana and MFA in Kala Bhavana, Visva Bharati, Santiniketan.
He has released five solo albums. The first album was Chaina Bhabish and the second Hok Kolorob. Third and fourth are Doob and Rod Boleche Hobe respectively. A combination of poetic lyrics and sophisticated melodies has earned Arnob a large fan-base among Bangladesh’s music listeners.
Hok Kolorob is the second solo album of this celebrated fusion artist. This album consists of songs that Arnob had written during his years at Shantiniketan. This album contains lyrics written by his wife Shahana Bajpai, and the songs are comparatively more melodic and simple in structure compared to his debut album Chaina Bhabish, which had a lot of experimentation. Among the big hits of Hok Kolorob are: Tomar Jonno, Tui Ki Janishna 2, Hok Kolorob, Tor Jonno, Bhalobasha Tar Por, etc
Arnob released his third studio album Doob in April of 2008. He collaborated with Sahana Bajpai, Saad, the MAk, Zohad, Andrew, Idris rahman etc. His distinct style and indie tune is still the core of this album but the studio produced sound may have its fair share of criticism. In 2012 his album Rod Boleche Hobe was a big hit which spouned hits like Ke Ami, Chithi Pathao, Protiddhoni, Ami Jodi, Biri, Megh Fete Geche, Iniye Biniye.
Arnob released his fifth solo album "Adheko Ghume'' in June 2012 which has 12 Rabindra Sangeet.

স্টেরিওটিপিকাল বাংলা গানগুলোর মাঝে এরকম একেকটা jewel খুজে পেলে ভালই লাগে।নচিকেতা ইন্সপায়ারড বুঝাই যায়।কিন্তু দুই বাংলার এই গানের মাঝখান দিয়ে মিশে যাওটা খারাপ নাহ

there was a time I used to listen to this song with my friends back in BD all the time...now we are all scattered, and this just brings me back all the memories. Long walks in Uttara, school, someone's house, singing this on the streets with a khola gola that would drive the dogs crazy :P.....GOOD TIMES. now it's just bringing me tears. sigh
