In the song Ankhon Mein Kya Ji, Kishore Kumar and Asha Bhonsle sing about the various subtle emotions that are communicated through physical gestures and natural phenomena. The lyrics describe a dreamy, romantic atmosphere with references to the beauty of clouds, the rustling of clothes, and the movement of eyelashes and hair. The repeated phrase "Ajab si halchal" suggests a sense of wonder and mystery surrounding these quiet, yet potent expressions of desire.
Despite the lushness of the scenery and the sensuality of the song, there is an underlying sense of longing and uncertainty. The lyric "Rangi hai mausam, tere dam ki bahar hai, phir bhi hai kuchh kam, bas tera intezar hai" alludes to the idea that the season is colorful and vibrant, but something is missing without the beloved's presence. The song is thus not just a celebration of visual and sensory details, but also a yearning for connection and intimacy.

In a long interview with Simi Garewal, Dev Anand recalled young and pretty Kalpana Kartik (real name: Mona Singha-- not Singh, he stressed) as a "naughty girl" in a positive sense. That quality was clearly a draw to him.We can see some of KK's chanchalta as well as his own in this lovely song clip. Very natural playfulness that, combined with other mutual attractions, easily led to marriage between the two. ( BTW, unfounded stories were spread later that KK was originally a Sikh and converted to Christianity later in life . No, she was originally from a Christian family and was quite devout in her faith from the start, DA said). Thanks, COS.

Met Dev Sahib in London in 1976-77 in London at the shooting of Des Pardes with Tina Munim (almost innocent looking kid) & Fali Mistry, I still have photo with Dev Sahib,
he was as human & decent in communicating with a student of infamous Architectural Assoc, and very polite...memory lives on...
@Harjinder1944
The reason there may have been stories about Kalpana Kartik being a Sikh might be based on her original last name Singha. Singha or Sangha is a Jat Sikh last name but is also prevalent in other communities like Punjabi Christians some of whom may have converted to Christianity in earlier times.

@@ravindrahemmanur3395 Fathers carrying their children on their shoulders for a walk, or to fairs is beautiful memory to very child that he/she cherishes for his life.. Nowadays, we don't get to see fathers carrying their kids this way, because cars, bikes etc.
This beautiful sight has now completely gone from the cities.
