Bjurren and Bonnie started Cosa Nostra, Micke joined Strebers and Ernie started NEIN together with members of Rolands Gosskör.
In 1989 the band was reunited and played a few gigs, but then went dormant until 1992 when they played at Rosa Honung's ten year jubilee. Then the band went quiet again until 2003 when they started touring again as a "revenge" for all the unfairness they've been put through. The drummer, Bjurre, quit the band in late 2004 to focuson his other bands Frost and Deny, and was replaced by Dadde (of Wolfbrigade). During 2005 a conflict with Rosa Honung that had been growing for many years reached a point where the band could no longer work with the label so they signed a deal with Burning Heart Records. In April 2006 Asta kask recorded their first new album in 20 years.

En sak som gäller mej
Vad du vill att jag skall bli
Det en dröm får förbli
Jag vill inte bli advokat
Inte heller höra ditt tjat
Dina åsikter du har
Jag vill slåss för fred
Inte lära mig att skjuta ner
Att kunna tänka själv
Ja, just så vill jag va'
Om man håller käft
Ja, då är man bra
Jag är ju din far
Allt mitt hat nu du har
Nu får du inte bli
Medlem i mitt moderata parti
Har jag inte dej
riktigt fostrat, säg?
Misslyckad är du nu
Vad ska jag säga min fru
Kamma ner ditt hår
Ta på dej en kavaj
Säj bara inte nej
Så förlåter jag dej
Om man håller käft
Ja, då är man bra
The song "Till Far" by Asta Kask talks about a conflict between father and son, where the son expresses his desire to follow his own dreams instead of succumbing to his father's expectations. The son tells his father that he doesn't want to become a lawyer as his father wishes, nor does he want to listen to his father's opinions, which the son feels are similar to the beliefs held by Nazis. Instead, the son wants to fight for peace rather than learn how to shoot down others, and be able to think for himself. He believes that being able to keep quiet sometimes is a sign of strength.
The father, in turn, shows disappointment and frustration at his child's choices. He feels that he has not done a good job in raising his son and wonders what he should tell his wife about the situation. He advises his son to get a haircut, put on a suit, and not refuse to follow his father's wishes to join a moderate political party, implying that if the son listens to him, all will be forgiven.
In summary, the song reflects the tension between generations when it comes to expectations and individual desires, and the struggle to find a balance between them.
