Bjurren and Bonnie started Cosa Nostra, Micke joined Strebers and Ernie started NEIN together with members of Rolands Gosskör.
In 1989 the band was reunited and played a few gigs, but then went dormant until 1992 when they played at Rosa Honung's ten year jubilee. Then the band went quiet again until 2003 when they started touring again as a "revenge" for all the unfairness they've been put through. The drummer, Bjurre, quit the band in late 2004 to focuson his other bands Frost and Deny, and was replaced by Dadde (of Wolfbrigade). During 2005 a conflict with Rosa Honung that had been growing for many years reached a point where the band could no longer work with the label so they signed a deal with Burning Heart Records. In April 2006 Asta kask recorded their first new album in 20 years.

The song "TV:n" by Asta Kask is a commentary on how the television can be a powerful force in shaping an individual's perception of the world around them. The singer of the song, Nils-Bertil, is taught by his father that TV is everything for a man. From a young age, Nils-Bertil spends hours watching TV every day, becoming increasingly isolated and passive towards the world outside his own home.
As the song progresses, we see Nils-Bertil become desensitized to the suffering of others, both domestically and globally, and even begin to find the appeal in ideologies as extreme as Nazism. Eventually, Nils-Bertil grows old, alone except for his television, until one day it breaks, leaving him paralyzed with shock.
In the end, Nils-Bertil dies and is buried with his TV, which he considered to be his only friend. Instead of a traditional gravestone, an antenna with the inscription "TV:n var min enda vän" is erected in his honor. The song is a poignant critique on the potentially harmful effects of media consumption on individuals and the society at large, especially when taken to the extremes.
