Bamboo Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Wasn't sure how i got to be here
Brought my knees
Wasn't the fallacy that's inside of me
Peace i give you, hey
And make him pay
Left throbin' on the outside, time
You'll play your game
Afar from reason
Show me, show me, show me
You say i don't belong
You say we don't belong
Well duty bounds me
On the cover of a magazine
The girl of your dreams
My hero's weapon is what you will seek
Don't be all you can be
You can
Save me now, but not today
The lyrics of Bamboo's song Argos speak about feeling lost and alone, not knowing how one got to a particular situation. The lines "I cried for days, wasn't sure how I got to be here" show that the singer is lost and confused. The following lines "brought me to my knees, wasn't the fallacy that's inside of me" could be interpreted as the singer acknowledging that it's not just external factors that got them to this point in life, but their own mistakes and poor decisions.
The chorus itself speaks about feeling like an outsider or not belonging, with the lines "you say I don't belong, you say we don't belong." It could be that the singer is being rejected by others or society as a whole.
The lines "my hero's weapon is what you will seek, don't be all you can be, you can" could mean that people sometimes look up to others and want to emulate them but sometimes too much admiration can lead to being overly focused on someone else's achievements at the expense of one's own.
Overall, the song Argos speaks to the idea of feeling lost and disconnected from others, as well as the importance of recognizing one's own mistakes and not getting too wrapped up in someone else's success.

My favorite Bamboo song, and it's only released physically in Rounin OST. This song and Iniibig Kita (Rounin version, not the album version) are my favorites because I have never heard such instrumentation in the radio.
If I recall, Argos is the name of the prison in Rounin.
