Opzoek naar de lach van Mamadora
(Mamadora)
Muziek op het plein
De geur van Jasmijn
De glazen vol wijn bij Mamadora
La Mamadora
De zon van Margentilla
op 't ritme van de rumba
Verjaagt ze elke traan
La mamadora
Het leven is een fiesta
Vergeet bij haar je siesta
Signore, Signorita
Kom dans met la Mama
La Mamadora ohoh
La Mamadora ohoh ohoh
Bloem in het haar
Een zonnig gelaat
Dat nooit meer verjaart bij Mamadora
Geen geld of juweel
Maar liefde teveel
Ze geefr wat ze heeft, la Mamadora
Mmmmmmm La mamadora
La Mamadora
De zon van Argentina
Op 't ritme van de rumba
Verjaagt ze elke traan
La Mamadora
Het leven is een fiesta
Vergeet bij haar je siesta
Signore, Signorita
Kom dans met la Mama
La Mamadora ohoh
La Mamadora ohohoh
La Mamadora ohoh
La Mamadora
La Mama-dora
La Mamadora
De zon van Argentina
Op 't ritme van de rumba
Verjaagt ze elke traan
La Mamadora
Het leven is een fiesta
Vergeet bij haar je siesta
Kom dans met La Mama
La Mamadora
De zon van Margentila
Op't ritme van de rumba
Verjaagt ze elke traan
La mamadora
Het leven is een fiesta
Vergeet bij haar je siesta
Kom dans met La Mama
La Mamadora
De aon van Argentina
Op 't ritme van een rumba
Verjaagt ze elke traan
La Mamadora
The first verse of Bart Kaëll's song La Mamadora introduces a newcomer to the city who is exhausted and searching for something that can make them laugh. This is where Mamadora comes into the picture, as the chorus introduces us to this enigmatic figure who can make all their worries disappear. The second verse further describes the environment where Mamadora is found, with music playing in the square and the scent of jasmine in the air. The glasses of wine that Mamadora serves convey a sense of celebration and joy.
The chorus of La Mamadora is catchy and emphasizes the titular character's ability to make everyone forget their problems and sorrows. The lyrics suggest that Mamadora is a person who has come from Argentina or Margentilla, who dances to the rhythm of rumba and has the power to chase away tears. The chorus also calls out to both ladies and gentlemen, encouraging them to come dance with Mamadora.
Overall, La Mamadora is a vibrant and upbeat song that depicts the transformative power of music and dance. The lyrics evoke a sense of escapism and underline the importance of living in the moment and enjoying life.
