amour, adieu la vie,
Adieu toutes les femmes que j'ai prises dans mes bras
Que je ne reverrai jamais
Je pars pour la dernière fois.

"Le Moribond" is a song that was originally written by Jacques Brel in the 1960s, and was later covered by the American band, Beirut, in their album "Gulag Orkester". The song essentially talks about a dying man saying goodbye to his life, his love and all the women he has ever been with.

The first stanza is a farewell to love and life, indicating that the man is ready to leave everything behind. In the second stanza, he bids farewell to all the women he has ever been with, whom he will never see again due to his impending death.

The song sheds light on a person who has come to terms with death, and is ready to say goodbye to everything that he has ever known in life. It is a melancholic song that tries to personify the "Moribond" or the dying man, who is at peace with his fate.
