Luna
Belanova Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
In the song "Luna" by Belanova, the lyrics speak of a person who is talking to the moon about their love interest. The first verse starts with "Otra vez ya son las diez" which means "Once again it's already ten o'clock". The next part says "Otra vez el cielo duerme" which translates to "Once again the sky is sleeping". The main theme in these lyrics is repetition - meaning that it's a daily routine for the singer to talk to the moon about their love interest. The chorus repeats twice and goes like this: "Y le diré, que todo el tiempo estoy pensando en ti, Y le enviaré, mi corazón tatuado en papel" which means "And I'll tell her that I'm always thinking of you, and I'll send her my heart tattooed on paper". This phrase is repeated throughout the song and emphasizes how deeply the singer's love is felt and expressed.
The song ends on the same note as it began, with the singer promising to talk to the moon about their love again. The lyrics of this song evoke deep emotions of love, longing, and yearning. The act of talking to the moon about one's love interest also adds a sense of romanticism and magic to the song.
