Champion
Bethel Music Lyrics

I've tried so hard to see it
Took me so long to believe it
That You choose someone like me
To carry Your victory
Perfection could never earn it
You give what we don't deserve it
You take the broken things
And raise them to glory

You are my Champion
Giants fall when You stand
Undefeated
Every battle You've won
I am who you say I am
You crown me with confidence
I am seated
In the heavenly place
Undefeated
With the One who has conquered it all

Now I can finally see it
You're teaching me how to receive it
So let all the striving cease
This is my victory

You are my Champion
Giants fall when You stand
Undefeated
Every battle You've won
I am who you say I am
You crown me with confidence
I am seated
In the heavenly place
Undefeated
With the One who has conquered it all

When I lift my voice and shout
Every wall comes crashing down
I have the authority
Jesus has given me
When I open up my mouth
Miracles start breaking out
I have the authority
Jesus has given me

When I lift my voice and shout
Every wall comes crashing down
I have the authority
Jesus has given me
When I open up my mouth
Miracles start breaking out
I have the authority
Jesus has given me

You are my Champion
Giants fall when You stand
Undefeated
Every battle You've won
I am who you say I am
You crown me with confidence
I am seated
In the heavenly place
Undefeated
By the power of Your name
I am seated
In the heavenly place
Undefeated
With the One who has conquered it all

When I lift my voice and shout
Every wall comes crashing down
I have the authority
Jesus has given me
When I open up my mouth
Miracles start breaking out
I have the authority
Jesus has given me

When I lift my voice and shout
Every wall comes crashing down
I have the authority
Jesus has given me
When I open up my mouth
Miracles start breaking out
I have the authority
Jesus has given me

You are my Champion
Giants fall when You stand
Undefeated
Every battle You've won
I am who you say I am
You crown me with confidence
I am seated
In the heavenly place
Undefeated
By the power of Your name
I am seated
In the heavenly place

Undefeated
With the One who has conquered it all

Overall Meaning

The song “Champion” by Dante Bowe from Bethel Music is a powerful anthem that focuses on the victory and authority that comes from having faith in Jesus Christ. In the first stanza, Bowe acknowledges how difficult it can be to believe in oneself as a deserving recipient of God’s love and grace. He writes, “Took me so long to believe it / That You choose someone like me / To carry Your victory.” Through these lines, he is expressing a sense of awe and humility that God would choose imperfect humans like us to carry His message of hope and salvation.

The chorus of the song centers on the idea that Jesus is our Champion, and that we can claim victories in our own lives through His power. The lyrics state, “Giants fall when You stand / Undefeated / Every battle You've won / I am who you say I am / You crown me with confidence / I am seated / In the heavenly place / Undefeated / With the One who has conquered it all.” Here, the emphasis is on overcoming any obstacle, no matter how daunting, because of the strength and authority that comes from having faith in Christ. Bowe reminds the listener that they are a champion, too, through Jesus.

The bridge of the song builds on this concept, stating that when we use our voice to declare the power of Jesus’ name, walls come crashing down and miracles happen. Bowe sings, “When I lift my voice and shout / Every wall comes crashing down / I have the authority / Jesus has given me / When I open up my mouth / Miracles start breaking out / I have the authority / Jesus has given me.” The overall message of “Champion” is clear: with Jesus on our side, we are overcomers and champions, and we can confidently claim the authority and power He has given us to affect change in our lives and the lives of those around us.

@@civ6825   you're the one who needs help. Everyone are worshipping the same God there's nothing wrong with their songs, their songs are anointed and powerful.

And from whatever you've mentioned in the comments they're mere rumours if it was true that would reflect In their song writing. Thats Kelly's daughter what you are saying they were not conjuring or doing dark magic to raise that girl in the way you're mentioning. Jesus brought dead people alive. And he said you'll do more greater and powerful things than what I've done, they were praying for the lord to give her life back, not even them everyone all around the world were praying for her, but it's God will it was her time to leave she left.

In fact people like you should be alarmed, as the lord says anyone will tell you Jesus has come there has come here spreading rumours, you'll run.

Nothing's wrong in listening or worshiping their songs or sermon. I've never ever felt that they're preaching wrong stuff, if it was so the spirit of the lord immediately warns you about it.

I've seen many giving wrong teachings but it depends upon us what to take in, if you're strong in faith and you know words of the lord no one can deceive you.

I was born a Muslim in Iraq. I was worried and depressed, sitting and looking at the Tigris River in my city.Jesus' face appeared to me in the water and told me. "Son, you're not alone" And now I'm a Christian, and I pray every day at the edge of the river.Thank you Jesus for this grace. I'm not alone right now. Jesus is with me.

@matthewschardtii1338

Thats an amazing testimony! Do you know that Jesus has been frequently visiting Muslims and leading them to Christianity? Jesus really is amazing!
