The first Between Interval album – Radio Silence, a soundtrack to an imaginary dystopian world – was finished in 2004 and released on black CDR. The second album, Secret Observatory, consisting of four long seamless space music tracks, was his first official release picked up by US label Spotted Peccary in 2005. It was followed by Autumn Continent in 2006, inspired by the calm somberness of the dark months of the year. In 2007 Radio Silence was remastered and re-released on Spotted Peccary, followed up two years later by The Edge of a Fairytale, an atmospheric world of sounds inspired by mythological creatures and places. In 2017, following some years of musical hiatus, LEGACY was released - a deep sci-fi journey with elements of electronica, dub techno, space music and Berlin school.

There's no secret kept in here
Forgive me for asking
Now wipe away your tears
And if I wish to stop it all
And if I wish to comfort the fall
It's just wishful thinking
I sat on the roof
And watched the day go by
I see the likeness in his smile and the way he stands
Makes it all worthwhile
And if I wish to stop it all
And if I wish to comfort the fall
It's just wishful thinking
It's time we should talk about is
There's no secret kept in here
I see the likeness in his smile and the way he stands
Makes it all worthwhile
And if I wish to stop it all
And if I wish to comfort the fall
And if I wish to stop it all
And if I wish to comfort the fall
It's just wishful thinking
The song "Wishful Thinking" by Between Interval possesses a simple, yet profound meaning that reflects the human tendency to hope for things that may not be in our control. The song talks about the importance of communication in a relationship, where it's necessary to talk about the issues rather than bottling them up. The singer expresses his regret for not bringing up the topic that is troubling them but asks for forgiveness before moving forward. The lines "And if I wish to stop it all, And if I wish to comfort the fall, It's just wishful thinking" reflect the idea that the singer knows he cannot change the past, but wishes he could undo the harm he has caused.
The second verse takes a different turn, as the singer sits on the roof and watches the day go by. He sees someone else, perhaps his partner, and realizes their presence makes everything worth it. This realization shows how often we take the people around us for granted and sometimes need an epiphany to recognize their value in our lives. The song ends with the repetition of the lines from the first verse while adding another instance, implying that the singer believes in the power of communication and wishes he could change his actions to better the situation.
