My Glory, man can't see and live
The glory of God is so overwhelming that no human can comprehend it without facing death

These are the words that God did give
God revealed these words to mankind

He put Moses in the cleft to hide him there until He left
God protected Moses by placing him in a secure place until He departed

Then Moses saw the hinder part of the glory of the Lord's great heart
Moses caught a glimpse of the divine essence and nature of God

Thru the glass we darkly see Won'dring how it can be
Our perception of God's glory is limited and we often question its true nature

We know that sin and darkness cannot endure
Sin and darkness cannot coexist in the presence of God's pure light

When His Light is shining pure
When God's pure light is radiating

The man of sin will pass away from His brightness one great day
One day, evil and sinful individuals will be eliminated by the overpowering brightness of God

Then all will be cleansed by His own power when we see Him in that final hour
In the final hour, everyone will be purified by God's power as we behold Him

We all will be happy over there The joys of heaven we will share
In heaven, we will experience eternal happiness and share in the joys of paradise

So great an holy is our Lord that His bright light can't be ignored
Our Lord is holy and exudes an intense light that cannot be disregarded

Burning dross from all He sees then cleanses sin from all He frees
God purges impurities and eradicates sin from everyone He liberates

So let us live in Glory bright and not return again to night
Therefore, let us dwell in the radiant glory of God and avoid returning to darkness

We'll be safe in his great love, living in heav'n above
By residing in God's immense love, we will find safety and experience the eternal bliss of heavenly abode
