With an emphasis on live instrumentation, as well as distorted vocals, we feel that Blossoms definitely provides something special within a booming scene, whilst also maintaining an air of accessibility for punters from all circles. meeting places takes all these elements and brings them together to create a world of woozy layered synths and textured samples – before wrapping them up with an overall air of honesty in each recording.

(Ooh-ooh-ooh, yeah, yeah, yeah)
I heard the daytime falling
They′re closing off the street
I got dressed now I'm walking
Trying to make it to the scene
I heard the sound of summer (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Like some illusioned lover (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Awaking in my veins
Cinerama holy days
Cinerama holy days
Cinerama holy days
Silence, oh, silence the heart
Now I′m watching the sunrise
The stranger on the shore
And it's only a short drive
It's great to be adored
Those were the best days (yeah, yeah, yeah)
When you were young (yeah, yeah, yeah)
I′ll say goodbye the right way (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Writing all my wrongs
Cinerama holy days
Cinerama holy days
Cinerama holy days
Silence, oh, silence the heart
If I could turn back the hands of time
Instead I wait here for the storms of life
Now my memories flood my mind
Hoping the years keep you warm at night
Hoping the years keep you warm at night
(Ooh-ooh-ooh, yeah, yeah, yeah)
(Ooh-ooh-ooh, yeah, yeah, yeah)
(Ooh-ooh-ooh, yeah, yeah, yeah)
(Ooh-ooh-ooh, yeah, yeah, yeah)
Cinerama holy days
Cinerama holy days
Cinerama holy days
Silence, oh, silence the heart
(Ooh-ooh-ooh, yeah, yeah, yeah)
(Ooh-ooh-ooh, yeah, yeah, yeah)
(Ooh-ooh-ooh, yeah, yeah, yeah)
(Ooh-ooh-ooh, yeah, yeah, yeah)
The lyrics of Blossoms' "Cinerama Holy Days" depict a sense of nostalgia and longing for days gone by. The song begins with the singer hearing "the daytime falling" and "they're closing off the street," suggesting a feeling of sadness or loss as the world changes around them. The singer then describes themselves getting dressed and walking towards "the scene," perhaps implying that they are trying to recapture a feeling or experience that they once had.
The chorus of the song repeats the phrase "Cinerama holy days," which could be a reference to Cinerama, a widescreen film process from the 1950s and 60s that was known for its grand, immersive spectacle. This nostalgic reference reinforces the idea that the singer is longing for a bygone era. The repetition of the phrase "silence, oh, silence the heart" suggests that the singer is experiencing emotional pain and is seeking solace or peace.
In the second verse, the singer watches the sunrise and sees "the stranger on the shore." These details could be metaphorical, representing the changing nature of the world and the singer's place in it. The singer then recalls "the best days" when they were young, hinting at a feeling of regret or loss for the past. The final lines suggest that the singer is aware that they cannot change the past, but they still hold onto hope for a better future.
Overall, "Cinerama Holy Days" is a melancholic reflection on the passage of time and the loss of youthful innocence. The references to Cinerama and the singer's memories of their past suggest a longing for a more grandiose, immersive world that has since faded away.
