Phone:SILLENCE! Now watch.
almost all the contestants trapped in the cage
Cup:N. No. No NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Phone: One push for a button will make the cage drop, and they will all BURN!
Cup:But can't we just recover them?
Phone:Nope, this lava was contained with some chemical components which allows no recovery at all.
A full-time DEATH!
Cup:So when you die, the recovery center won't bring you BACK!?
Phone:Exactly.

” It was performed into a dissected VHS deck with the motor running super slowly, so you can hear all the pockmarks, the dropouts on the tape. It’s mono, too, which gives it something special.'' - Marcus Eoin on Semena Mertvykh

@Frederik De Maere The New York Times, the article is still available ''A WORD WITH: BOARDS OF CANADA Brothers Who Make Electronica by Hand''

Their more traditional electronic tracks are great but the more ambient ones like this are always phenomenal imo. I really wish they would tinker more with ambience.

@samanthablack3507

I agree. The more ambient stuff is very underrated. You might really like this track https://youtu.be/pbKsh-7TkAI

Agreed. I like some of their more traditional, 'rhythmic' music, but the following for example is one of my favorite pieces of music ever, barely anything else makes me feel like that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=twD-1lg8xDM

this is basically all their ambient stuff (albiet edited in places)

@thegrunch6448

Agreed. Sundown is the most beautiful ambient I've ever heard

@EmbraceEmptiness

great way to end an album. love the ominous apocalyptic vibe this album has.

@givlupi2686

Palace Posy, one of the tracks on this album is an anagram of apocalypse.
