During 1970 and 1971, Wailer, Marley and Tosh worked with renowned reggae producers Leslie Kong and Lee "Scratch" Perry.
They released four albums before signing to Island Records in 1972. Two more albums were created before Tosh and Wailer left the band in 1974, citing grievances over label treatment and ideological differences. Marley carried on with a new line-up, including the I-Threes that put out seven more more albums. Marley died in 1981.
The Wailers were a groundbreaking ska and reggae group, noted for songs such as "Simmer Down", "Trenchtown Rock", "Nice Time", "War", "Stir It Up" and "Get Up, Stand Up".

Let me tell you what I know now
Bend down low
Let me tell you what I know, what I know, what I know
Long time, we no have no nice time
Doo-yoo-doo-dun-doo, yeah, think about that
Long, long, long, long time, we no have no nice time
One love, one heart
Let's get together and feel alright
One love, hear my plea, one heart
Give thanks and praise to the Lord, and I will feel alright
Simmer down, you lickin' too hot, so
Simmer down, soon you'll get dropped, so
Simmer down, man, you hear what I say?
After he
Breaks your heart
Then you'll be sad, so sad
And then your teardrops start
I tell you, then you'll know how
It hurts to be alone
Oh, what a (... feeling ...), what a feeling (... be blue)
Oh, what a feeling, oh, what a feeling
(Oh, what a feeling to be blue)
Have you ever had a lonesome feeling?
This was cause through love and affection
This was cause through love and affection
This was cause through love and affection
Mm, feel them spirit
I'm gonna put it on
Feel them spirit
I'm gonna put it on
Yes, my friend
We're in the streets again
Yes, my friend
Dem set we free again ...
The lyrics of "All in One" is a medley of different Bob Marley songs merged together in one track. The lyrics start with "Bend Down Low," which encourages the listeners to pay attention and listen up as Marley has something vital to share. The song proceeds with Marley acknowledging that it's been quite a while since they've had some fun and heartily implores the listeners to ponder that thought. He then moves onto "One Love," which remains one of his most famous and widely recognized tracks. Marley's message is an entirely simple assertion that love is the answer, and his message is conveyed through his tuneful and soulful melodies.
As the melody continues, Marley delivers "Simmer Down," a track that encourages listeners to calm down and cease from being so hot-headed before getting into trouble. He reminds listeners of the repercussions of heartbreak in "It Hurts To Be Alone" and sympathizes with the listeners who may have experienced loneliness. The medley draws to a close with "Lonesome Feeling," another track that looks into the emotions of heartache—a theme that appears to be echoed throughout the medley.
"All In One" is an amalgamation of some of Bob Marley's classic tracks. Each melody not only symbolizes a separate track, but they also convey different messages in the context of the medley. As per Marley's interviews, this was created to form a backdrop for his live shows.
