AT A TIME LIKE THIS
From the film "Play It Cool" (1961)
Bobby Vee - 1961

At a time like this
When I′m trying to forget her
Did you have to say you'd met her (Met her)
At a time like this

Was she all alone
Did she look the same
And could you tell me
Did she mention my name

At a time like this (At a time like this)
When I′d put her love behind me
Didn't want ya to remind me
At a time like this

Though I'm doing fine
With a girl or two
I know that no one else
Will ever do

She′s the kind of girl
I will always miss
And I long to hold her in my arms
At a time like this

She′s the kind of girl
I will always miss
And I long to hold her in my arms
At a time like this

Yes, I long to hold her in my arms
At a time like this

Ummm... I long to hold her in my arms
At a time like this

Sadly we have now lost Bobby, we will miss him very much. Being a fan of Billy Fury, Bobby was connected to Billy, in that he appeared in one of Billy's films, Play it Cool. Bobby sang At A Time Like This in the film . Another connection was that Billy also covered the wonderful song 'Devil or Angel'. RIP we all love you. xxx

I always have to toss a coin to decide if this song is my favourite Boby Vee song or 'More than I can say'

I am so glad I got to meet Bobby at a show at Bull Run Park in Manassas, Va. in August 1984. I shook his hand and got his autograph. A fine gentleman!

Catch Bobby singing this song in the 1962 British rock n' roll quickie "Play It Cool." Nice vintage performance on film....and actually a fun flick. That clip is up here on You Tube.

@GraphicManComics
