1) Boikot is a Spanish left-wing punk/rock group.
The group started in 1987 singing in bars and private locals. After doing a pair of adjustments in the formation of the group they recorded two albums with the label Barrabas. They were themselves doing acquaintances playing in Madrid, until in the year 1995 they break with the seal Barrabás and they decide to start their own production business BKT. They launched two disks more, Cría Cuervos and Tu Condena, and they played in diverse festivals of rock as Festimad or Metaliko Rock. After this they decided to do a trilogy called La Ruta del Ché, that would be composed of three disks that count the history of Che Guevara and engravings while they were on tour in some countries as in Cuba, Mexico, or Argentina.
2) Polish punk-hard core group, sometimes spelled BOiKOT (in capital letters with small "i") that released few cassettes in early '90. Titles: "Stany odmiennosci", "Przeminal juz raj na ziemi"

Paso en argentina y en Chile cayó
Escondidos tras leyes
Que nadie dictó
Se refugian en ellas
Algun dictador
Quien tire del hilo
Verá el crimen de estado
Por un mundo mejor
El peso del dolar
Alimente al estado
E Incubre los crimenes
De un dictador
Libertad y justicia
The lyrics of Boikot's song "Pueblos III" touch upon political issues in various Latin American countries. The song mentions Nicaragua, El Salvador, Argentina, and Chile, where dictators have taken refuge behind laws that were not democratically enacted. These laws enable violent crimes by the state against its own citizens, and the only way to bring justice is by uncovering the truth about these crimes. The lyrics suggest that guerrilla movements arise due to this oppression, with the hope of creating a better world. The economic impact of the dollar sustains the regime, but the people must stand up for themselves and resist the oppression.
The song also includes a reference to the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo, an association founded in 1977 by Argentine mothers who were seeking justice for their children who had disappeared during the Dirty War. The Mothers refused to negotiate principles and fought for justice in a non-violent manner, despite the risks of repression. The lyrics express admiration for their struggle and commitment to keeping their ideals alive. They advocate for a revolutionary democracy where justice and ethics are at the center of public life. They highlight the importance of young people who carry on the fight and keep the ideology of justice and freedom alive.
Overall, the lyrics of "Pueblos III" are a call-to-action for people to resist oppression and fight for justice and democracy, even in the face of immense challenges.
