1) Boikot is a Spanish left-wing punk/rock group.
The group started in 1987 singing in bars and private locals. After doing a pair of adjustments in the formation of the group they recorded two albums with the label Barrabas. They were themselves doing acquaintances playing in Madrid, until in the year 1995 they break with the seal Barrabás and they decide to start their own production business BKT. They launched two disks more, Cría Cuervos and Tu Condena, and they played in diverse festivals of rock as Festimad or Metaliko Rock. After this they decided to do a trilogy called La Ruta del Ché, that would be composed of three disks that count the history of Che Guevara and engravings while they were on tour in some countries as in Cuba, Mexico, or Argentina.
2) Polish punk-hard core group, sometimes spelled BOiKOT (in capital letters with small "i") that released few cassettes in early '90. Titles: "Stany odmiennosci", "Przeminal juz raj na ziemi"

¡Oi, voy! ¡Oi, voy!
A las tres de madrugada terminó
Aquel montaje de insolación
El fonomóvil se asomó por un bolsillito
Almohadones para la continuación
"Hippy - Yuppies" en un mar de confusión
Este Woodstock disfrazó el Rock 'n Roll
¡Que pronto se evapora!
The lyrics to Boikot's song Segunda Sesión describe a person who wakes up at 6am to get ready for a fashion festival. The person puts on a new image for the occasion, with a fresh outfit and business cards, and heads to the arena of the circus. The lyrics also describe the person's obsession with feathers and amphetamines. Despite all the fancy clothes and accessories, the person is still just a monkey at heart.
The lyrics are critical of society's obsession with materialism and surface-level appearances. The person in the song is trying to project a certain image, but underneath it all, they are still just the same person. The mention of feathers and amphetamines could represent our desire to alter ourselves or our experiences through artificial means, rather than facing reality. The lyrics also reference Woodstock, the famous music festival that represented a more authentic counter-culture movement. The line "este Woodstock disfrazó el Rock 'n Roll" suggests that modern music festivals have become more like circuses, with glitzy shows that lack the authenticity of the original Woodstock.
Overall, Boikot's Segunda Sesión is a critique of society's obsession with image and materialism, and a call to return to more authentic experiences and values.
