All Messed Up
Breaking Point Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
I dream about you all the time now, and I don't want to face.
Another night without you here.
Some day, some way, some how.
We will be together again.
Together again.
You know I've always wanted.
You know I've always hated.
Knowing how far apart we are.
Some day, some way, some how.
We will be together again.
I just want you to know.
Oh baby I'm all messed up in you.
You're far away.
But you're here with me.
Oh, baby I'm all messed up in you.
You're all I need.
My everything.
Every night I wake up.
Hoping that I'll find you here and.
There's not a day that goes by.
I don't think about your smile.
Some day, some way, some how.
We will be together again.
I just want you to know.
Oh baby I'm all messed up in you.
You're far away.
But you're here with me.
Oh baby I'm all messed up in you.
You're all I need.
My everything.
I know that we will find a way.
To be together some day.
I promise you that I won't leave, I'll be here forever.
Oh baby I'm all messed up in you.
You're far away.
But you're here with me.
I'm all messed up in you.
You're all I need.
My everything.
I want you.
I need you.
I'm lost here without you.
I'm all messed up in you.
I hope I never wake up.
I dream about you all the time now.
The lyrics to Breaking Point's song All Messed Up describe the longing for love from someone who is far away. The singer is unable to sleep as they dream about their partner and the thought of spending another night without them is unbearable. They hope to be together again someday and are constantly thinking about their loved one's smile. The chorus repeats the line "Oh baby I'm all messed up in you," indicating that this person has a strong emotional attachment to their partner and cannot function without them.
The lyrics also depict the frustration of the distance between them, and how the singer has always wanted to feel the touch of their love. They have always hated knowing how far apart they are and this longing is what fuels the song’s emotional intensity. The phrase "Some day, some way, some how" also indicates the singer's willingness to do whatever it takes to be reunited with their partner.
Overall, the lyrics to All Messed Up are poetic and express the strong emotional attachment between two people who are far away from each other. The song's emotional intensity is fueled by the singer's longing for their loved one, and their strong desire to be together again someday.
