John Williams has to be the greatest composer of all time

Agustín Fodrini

He is.

He did have the benefit of learning from so many countless other composers, but he certainly is one of the best. I honestly think Berlioz is one of the others, as well as Prokofiev. Their orchestrations are incredibly dense too.

Because, there is good in him, I felt it. He won't turn me over to the Emperor; I can save him, I can bring him back to the good side.

The theme for Luke and Leia is one of my absolute favorite pieces from John Williams. There is so much beauty, bittersweet nostalgia and sadness in a romantic way flawing through this, I'm crying inside every time - and sometimes outside, too.

My favorite piece of the SW soundtrack; it's different from the "Luke and Leia" theme, this is the way it's heard in the movie <3 the part from 0:50 so haunting...and also 1:46

0:50 is one of my favorite musical moments from all of the original trilogy

"That was why you couldn't destroy me. That's why you won't bring me to your Emperor now." 4:52

"Search your feelings, Father, you can't do this. I feel the conflict within you. Let go of your hate." 5:57

"Then my father is truly dead." 6:17

I agree with you that John Williams is one of the greatest composers of all time!

Will

I've come to accept the fact that you were once Anakin Skywalker my Father.
