Brown was born on May 12, 1982 to Dan and Cheryl Brown in Madison, Mississippi, a suburb of Jackson.[1][2] When Brown was nine years old, his family decided to relocate to Orlando, Florida for his father’s career.[1][3] In 2005, he graduated from Mississippi State with a degree in Psychology.[1] On October 13, 2009, he released a cover of Easton Corbin’s “A Little More Country Than That” that went viral.[1][4] A year later, he opened up for country music legend, John Anderson in Wildwood, FL.[1][5][6][7] On July 4, 2012, he released his first album titled Mason Jar. Watching this now...34 f__king years later, after having served in the Navy, graduated from college, completed a successful career and retiring last year...This shit STILL made the blood rush to my head, tears flow out of my eyes and I felt my legs inching toward a two point stance position and my back straighten up, like I was ready to roll my hips and launch my body into a tackle. I think I even hear old Coach Thomas yelling "WRAP UP!!"

Finished off my senior season. Looking back now the days we were running sprints in weather hotter than hell feeling tired and wanting practice to end badly it is something that never crosses my head anymore. I would do anything to start over again and suit up with the boys that I have played with for 4 years of my life. Going out on that turf field under those lights on a Friday night is a one of a kind feeling and it is something that I will always remember for the rest of my life. Football is truly the best sport.

I finished my season is 2017 and I go back to the games this past year to watch and I could feel those butterflies in my stomach and got chills as the national anthem played. Every game at that moment the nervousness really started kicking in and blood rushing because I knew we were about to go into battle. I miss it more than anything running out of that blow up helmet we had and having the lights shine down on you and all those people that came out to see you play. Man you can’t beat the feeling

I am a senior from Nashville illinois and man there is anything in this world I wouldn't give to be able to put those pads on and play even one more game of Nashville Hornet football with my brothers we had a lot of good times and bad times, wins and losses hell even went all the way to final four my sophomore year. The pain that I caused and the hilarity of it, Coach yelling at me for being too aggressive but patting my shoulders as he said it.

Song brings me back to the good long ago. We were brothers on and off the field. Played from time I was old enough all the way through high school. We were the first to take our school to state back in 1983. Had a great time, until week before senior season started when I messed my ankle up and affected my entire season. I guess that cost me my college career because I had an injury that wouldn't heal. But we had a hell of a team.

Great Song! My Senior Year was 20 years ago. We were In a must win to qualify for states. We lost. Everything I have a chance to catch a game. The final seconds of that game come rushing back like it was yesterday. Our opponent took 3 knees and punted we lost by 2.

Upstate Angler. I just got back from weight lifting and seen this. I have had many set backs and sometimes it is hard to find motivation to get up and keep playing. But some how I find it and keep moving forward. It's my dream to play college football and Then NFL but I want to help other people trying to make it to the top as well. I will not be a "big head" and act better than everyone else because my goal is to help other kids to achieve their goals in life as well. Football is not just a sport or a pass time for me. It's my dream and that's my goal. People may laugh and say I can't make it to college but that pushes me to work harder.

seeing that state bound sign made me want to cry! 2018-19 my hometown football team made it to round 5, if we won we would of gone to state. My brother being a senior and playing football i was at every game, but homecoming night my brother went to block our quarterback when the kid he was tackling took his knee out. tearing his MCL & MPFL, his football season was over.
it’s hard seeing someone that you’ve grown up with ALWAYS PLAYING SPORTS, injured and there’s nothing you can do about it, me being a freshmen, i wish that happened to me because i could of comeback and played my senior year.
It’s going to be rough not seeing the senior boys that i grow up with not playing next year. but we made it farther then any other football team in my town had in 48 years.
