Divine Breath
Bury Tomorrow Lyrics

This is, our final test
For years you've been the forefront of my mind
I have felt relief, ended the curse
So take me away
For the last time
Take me away
We could drift away
For the last time
Take me away
The lyrics of Bury Tomorrow's Divine Breath are powerful and emotional. They seem to be discussing the concept of searching for redemption or solace in something larger than oneself. The lines "Searching for divine breath, this is our final test" suggest the search for something holy or spiritual, which could be interpreted in a number of ways depending on the listener's perspective. The singer seems to be at the end of their rope, feeling as though they are being tested and pushed to their limits.
The second stanza seems to reference a personal journey of growth or healing, with the lines "for years you've been the forefront of my mind, I have felt relief, ended the curse". These lines suggest that the singer has been working through something difficult, some sort of binding or torment that they have finally overcome. The following lines, "take me away for the last time, we could drift away for the last time, take me away" could be interpreted as a plea for release: perhaps the singer is tired of struggling and is ready to be taken to a better place.
Overall, the lyrics of Divine Breath seem to be grappling with powerful themes of redemption, self-discovery, and personal growth. The song seems to be a meditation on the human condition and the ways in which we can find meaning and purpose in our lives.
