1. Cali (Bruno Caliciuri) is a singer-songwriter and musician who was born June 28, 1968 in Perpignan, France.
After many years of playing in bars, villages' theaters, and in front of no body (bordeaux), Cali wrote his first album "Amour parfait". His lyrics talk about love, but the bad side of love with break-ups, clashes, depression, divorces... His lyrics are accompanied by wonderful melodies with viola (an instrument like a violin), piano, brass, folk and electric guitar. Joyful melodies and dark lyrics mixed with a powerful energy on stage made Cali pretty unique. He gives his heart to his fans, and they give thanks to him.

Roberta
CALI Lyrics

Roberta a 82 ans
Roberta a trois enfants
Et quand elle me rend mes sourires
Je crois fort au petit Jésus
Sur son oreille qui s'étire
Roberta a 82 ans
Roberta a trois enfants
Oui Roberta a 82 ans
The lyrics to Cali's song "Roberta" describe the singer's reliance on his relationship with an elderly woman named Roberta to bring meaning and positivity to his otherwise bleak life. The song opens with the singer acknowledging that there are times when his life feels so dead that it could "make a dead person blush" but instead of wallowing in despair, he thinks of Roberta. Whenever his life feels empty, and he could make even the shyest person dance, he turns to thoughts of Roberta. She is his source of light in moments when his heart feels dark and heavy. When his life feels ugly, and he could make even a priest slam dance, he doesn't lose hope because Roberta is there.
The song goes on to describe Roberta's physical characteristics and personal history. She is described as tiny with hazel eyes that sparkle with a sense of celebration. Despite being 82 years old, she still wears a long dress that reaches down to her ankles and has a small cross hanging on her earlobe. The singer shares that Roberta has had a full life that includes two soldiers and one cook as lovers. However, even with all her romantic experiences, she keeps a photo of the singer on her mantel. The singer goes on to detail how they spend their time together, often walking through the cemetery and reminiscing about people they have known. When they return home, Roberta will stroke the singer's hair while he lays his head in her lap, and they both find comfort in each other's company.
The lyrics to "Roberta" highlight a poignant and emotional tale of a seemingly unlikely companionship between two individuals who share a deep bond despite their vast differences in age and life experience. This theme of finding hope and meaning in unexpected places is a common thread in Cali's music, making it relatable and universal to many listeners.
