Also, The Mighty Majors ("You Can Never Go Back") was her backup band once on the road.

In 2004 when Sex and the City ended its successful six-year run, the last song played on that show was "You Got the Love" with Sarah Jessica Parker walking down New York City streets and talking about the endless relationship with herself.
Christmas In My Heart

I don't have to wait for the lives to see
I don′t have to wait for the holiday spirit
And prayers under the tree
I don't have to wait for the careless singing
So the world can take a part
No everyday is Christmas
'Cause I′ve got christmas in my heart
I love to hear the childrens laughter
See the old folks walkin′ in my house
Try to decide on christmas presents to give to one and all
And then I think about the reason for the season
Christ was born to give us a brand new star
Because everyday is Christmas
'Cause I′ve got Christmas in my heart
Christmas in my heart
Christmas in my heart
You see a child was born to make a difference
To give us a brand new start
So sing the glad tidings of christmas child
Let the joy, let the joy never pass
Everyday is christmas
'Cause I′ve got Christmas in my heartChristmas in my heart
Christmas in my heart
You see a child was born to make a difference
To give us a brand new start
So sing the glad tidings of christmas child 'oyeah
Let the joy, let the joy never pass
No no no no
Everyday is christmas
Everyday is christmas O yes it is
Everyday is christmas
′Cause I've got Christmas in my heart
Oyeah
Cause I've got Christmas in my heart
Oh every day of my life
I′ve got Christmas in my heart
The lyrics to Candi Staton's song "Christmas in My Heart" convey the message that Christmas is not just a one-day holiday but rather a feeling and attitude that can be embraced and celebrated every day. The singer proclaims that she does not have to wait until December 25th or Christmas traditions to feel the holiday spirit as she has it in her heart every day. She loves hearing the laughter of children, seeing the happiness of the old folks walking into her house, and thinking about the reason for the season. The birth of Christ was to give us a brand new start, and we should celebrate this every day of our lives.
The song's message is relatable as it encourages people to embrace the spirit of Christmas all year round. The theme of love, joy, and giving transcends traditional materialism during the holiday season. Instead, it is about kindness, hope, and the warmth of the human spirit. The song's message becomes more critical as the world experiences challenging times, and people need more reasons to hold on to hope and believe that better days are ahead.
Overall, "Christmas in My Heart" is a song that encourages listeners to embrace the message of Christmas and hold it in their hearts all year long. It is a message of love, hope, and the warmth of the human spirit.
