1) capsule (Japan), an electronic duo on their own label, Contemode.
2) Capsule (Miami, Florida), a hardcore/screamo band currently signed to Robotic Empire.
1) capsule is an electronic duo, formed in Kanazawa, Japan in 1997 by Yasutaka Nakata (co-producer, art director) and Toshiko Koshijima (vocals). They are part of the shibuya-kei movement that started in 1990, most notably by Pizzicato Five. In March of 2001, they made their first single with Yamaha Music, 'Sakura'. Their music contains elements of bossa nova, ye-ye, nu jazz, lounge, breakbeat, and most recently, electro house. In 2003, Yasutaka created his own label, Contemode, and has produced other artists on the label, such as Perfume, COLTEMONIKHA, NAGISA COSMETIC and Meg. Nakata has described the music produced by Contemode acts as "an accessory to fashion", and the band's music can often be found for sale in fashion boutiques in Shibuya, Japan.
2) Capsule is a hardcore band from Miami Beach. Started in 2004 by Eric Hernandez & Colin Smith, the band tours the United States frequently. They released a couple records on Dippy Records and in 2008, Robotic Empire released the critically acclaimed “Blue” on 12” vinyl and CD.
Jelly
Capsule Lyrics

The lyrics of Capsule's "Jelly" present a reflection on the nature of expectations and perceived realities. The singer of the song seems to have stumbled upon a place or situation where they found something that they had desired for a long time but could never attain, something they had convinced themselves did not exist. The imagery of the "jelly" is used as a metaphor for this elusive object of desire, which is both attractive and unsettling, palpable and malleable. The singer's emotions are conveyed through the trembling and shaking of the jelly, which also serves to emphasize the fragility and instability of their beliefs.
The second half of the song delves more into the singer's mindset and internal conflicts. They seem to doubt their own abilities and worth, constantly anticipating failure and disappointment. The idea of chance and destiny is also alluded to, as the singer questions the role they played in finding the object of their desire and whether it was always meant to be. The song ends on a note of uncertainty, with the singer acknowledging the power of their own beliefs but unsure of whether they are justified or simply wishful thinking.
