I was still aware of those around me
Despite my dying state, I was conscious of the people grieving around me.

I could hear their cries and sense their grief
I could sense their sorrow and hear their lamentations.

But was physically incapable
However, I was unable to respond physically to their sorrow.

Of responding to them in any way
I could not take any action, nor respond in any way.

There was surprisingly no sensation of death
Strangely, I did not feel like I was dying.

But without doubt, I knew I was dying
But I was certain that my body and spirit were separating naturally.

As my spirit and body naturally
As my spirit and body separated without any resistance.

And without effort began to separate
There was no struggle as my spirit and body parted ways.

An entirely new dimension of reality unfolded
I witnessed a new and distinct dimension unfold before me.

Like the slow opening of a rare flower
It was like watching a rare flower opening gradually, revealing its beauty.

Celestial mysteries were revealed from beyond
I was revealed heavenly secrets that were beyond human comprehension.

The atmosphere was permeated
The environment was filled with

With the healing melody of an invisible choir
The comforting sound of a choir that I could not see filled the air.

And I knew I had entered the domain of the living God
I was certain that I was in the presence of the living God.

My eyes beheld a vast concourse of souls from every nation
I witnessed an immense gathering of people from all corners of the world.

Dressed in the spotless garments of the redeemed
They wore clean clothes which symbolized their redemption.

With a loud voice they echoed praises to their King
They joyfully sang praises to their King.

I saw a mighty throne around which was seated
I observed a powerful throne with

Four and twenty elders with crowns of glory
24 respected elders wearing crowns of glory.

And like the sound of rushing waters they began to sing
Their singing was like the sound of rushing waters.

They sang
Their song was about

Holy, holy, holy
The complete reverence and purity of God.

I heard them say
It was clear to me that they were singing.

They said
Their message was that

The whole principle of living was different
The nature of life had distinctly changed from what I knew.

Food and water wasn't needed to sustain life
Unlike the earthly life where we require food and water to survive.

There was no mental agony, tears
There was no mental pain, tears,

Source of tears or any physical pain
Or any physical discomfort.

Light did not come from one source like the sun
The source of light was not like the sun, which originates from one point.

But God's glory illuminated everything
God's brilliance radiated everywhere.

So shadows did not exist, neither did elemental changes
Therefore, there were no shadows, and there was no change in natural elements such as snow, storms, and even rain.

Then, in all of it's pristine graduer, I saw the Holy City
I saw the magnificent Holy City

Suspended like a cube at the expanse of eternity
It appeared to be cube-shaped and infinite in size.

Fifteen hundred miles high and just as deep as it was wide
It was vast, measuring 1500 miles in height, width, and depth.

Indescribable colors were refracting everywhere
I witnessed the colors refracting in every direction, which were difficult to describe.

From the precious stones it was made of
These colors emanated from the valuable stones that the Holy City was made of.

With twelve angels guarding the gates
The gates of the Holy City were guarded by twelve angels.

Fashioned from one solid pearl on each side
The gates were created from a single pearl on each side.

Then, from behind me, I could sense the presence
I felt the presence of someone behind me.

Of one whose virtue shot through the very fibers of my being
This person's essence instilled within me a sense of morality and goodness.

As I slowly turned, a glorious radiance consumed my eyes
I gradually turned to witness this glorious being, and it radiated a bright light that stunned me.

His silhouette was backdropped by the immense sea of glass
The background of His figure was a massive sea of glass.

And for the very first time
It was the initial time in my life that

My eyes beheld one altogether lovely
I saw the most beautiful being that I had ever seen.

The Lily of the Valley, the Fairest of Ten Thousands
He was the most wonderful person, and the sight of it was indescribable.

My Lord, my Saviour Jesus Christ
The most incredible being that I saw was none other than my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

I threw up my hands and cried
I lifted my hands and cried out

His eyes were filled with tenderness
He had a loving and affectionate gaze.

Encouragement, strength and love
His presence emitted encouragement and strength, and it was filled with love.

His countenance proclaimed He knew everything
His expression revealed that He possessed an array of knowledge.

There was to know or ever worth knowing
He knew everything that was worth knowing, and more.

Being with Him was to have everything I ever wanted
Being with Him was more than I could ever have desired.

Be everything I ever imagined
He was more than what I could have ever imagined.

And arrive at everywhere I only dreamed of going
He was both the place where I wanted to be and where I had dreamt of being.

Then the same Voice that spoke the worlds into existence
The same voice that created the world,

Spoke my name in affectionate tones
Called my name with positive and loving words.

He said, "My beloved child, there are those left behind
He spoke and said, "My dear child, there are those that you have left behind

Who are deeply grieved at your death
And are deeply sad about you passing away.

They've prayed I return you to your earthly life
They have prayed that you be allowed to come back to life on earth.

And because of their faithfulness to Me
And because of their devotion to Me

I am willing to grant their request"
I am willing to accept their request"

I said, "Lord, if my loved ones only knew
I replied, "Lord, if my loved ones knew

The limitless wonders of Heaven
About the limitless wonders of Heaven

If they could steal but one brief glimpse of glory
If they could have a glimpse of the Heavenly glory

I know what they would do"
I am sure that they would do anything"

Because they loved me, they'd never ask
They would never dare to ask

That I return to the confines of my human body
That I return to my earthly, limited body

Lord, I can't go back, please let me stay with You"
Lord, I cannot go back to my old body, please let me stay by Your side."

For You are the resurrection of the life
Because You are the one who brought resurrection to life.

The Son of the Living God
You are the Son of the Living God.

You're the only one worthy of honor
You are the only one deserving of praise.

And glory and power and praise
The glory and power are yours as well as the praise.

Master, only You make all things new
Master, only You are capable of renewal.

For You alone are Lord and God, Saviour and King
Only You are the Lord and God, Saviour and King.

And forever and ever, throughout all eternity

I'll join the hosts of heaven
