Following the brothers' falling out, Max Cavalera had formed a new band, Soulfly, and Igor had recorded four studio albums with Sepultura before leaving the band in January 2006. In July 2006, Max received an unexpected call from his brother, and by the end of the conversation, Max had invited Igor to visit him in Phoenix, Arizona, to perform in a Soulfly show. Igor joined Soulfly in concert and performed two Sepultura songs. After the show, Max suggested they begin a new project, and Igor accepted. To complete the band, Max chose Soulfly guitarist Marc Rizzo and Joe Duplantier (Gojira) as the bass guitarist. The group then recorded their debut album at Undercity Studios in Los Angeles with engineer and co-producer Logan Mader in July 2007. Named after the band's original moniker, Inflikted was released through Roadrunner Records on March 25, 2008. Cavalera Conspiracy has released three more albums since then: Blunt Force Trauma (2011), Pandemonium (2014) and Psychosis (2017).

I Speak Hate
Cavalera Conspiracy Lyrics

I've been betrayed
Locked in a cage
And now I speak hate
It was murder
Done by the orders
Blame on me
And now I learn to hate
I was a prize fighter
I hit them harder
But this is war
And now I speak hate
Fighting for my pride
Fighting for my life
Fighting to survive
And now I speak hate
Hatred, killing
Killing the hate, killing the hate
Hatred, killing
Killing the hate, killing the hate
I speak hate; do you understand? I speak hate
I speak hate; do you understand? I speak hate
I speak hate; can't you understand? I speak hate
I speak hate; can't you understand? I speak hate
When I was in prison
I refused to be
Treated like and animal
And now I speak hate
In solitary
They throw my body
Total solitude
And now I speak hate
I am a monster
Rejected by the world
A menace to society
And now I speak hate
Fighting for my pride
Fighting for my life
Fighting to survive
And now I speak hate
Hatred, killing
Killing the hate, killing the hate
Hatred, killing
Killing the hate, killing the hate
I speak hate; do you understand? I speak hate
I speak hate; do you understand? I speak hate
I speak hate; can't you understand? I speak hate
I speak hate; can't you understand? I speak hate
I speak the language of hate
You won't misunderstand me
I speak the language of hate
I'll make you understand me
Speak
Hate
The song "I Speak Hate" by Cavalera Conspiracy is an expression of the intense anger and frustration of the singer, who has been betrayed, locked up in a cage, and wrongfully accused of murder. The singer is fighting for his pride, his life, and his survival, and he is lashing out against the injustice and cruelty of the world that has rejected him. The lyrics reflect his determination to speak out against the injustice and to fight back with all the anger and hatred he can muster. He speaks the language of hate in order to make himself understood, to assert his power, and to defend himself against his enemies.
The lyrics of the song suggest that the singer has been through a traumatic experience, possibly in prison, and that he has been fighting for his freedom and his dignity ever since. He has refused to be treated like an animal and has asserted his own humanity, even in the face of extreme adversity. The lyrics also suggest that the singer is aware of his own monstrousness, and that he is using his anger and hatred as a weapon to protect himself from further harm. In this way, the song can be seen as a powerful expression of the human struggle for survival, dignity, and justice.
