In 2008, after five solo album releases, and nine with Passion, Tomlin made the move from Texas to Atlanta to be a worship leader for Giglio’s new church, Passion City Church, with its first service being held in February of 2009. Tomlin has since released four solo worship albums, two Christmas albums, and one live album.
In 2013, Tomlin’s seventh album Burning Light debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 albums chart, becoming only the fourth album by a Christian artist to top that chart, along with Butterfly Kisses (Shades of Grace) by Bob Carlisle, You Light Up My Life by LeeAnn Rimes, both in 1997, and TobyMac's Eye On It in 2012.

God is like oxygen you can't see him but you can't live without him

I would agree to a certain degree. However I would have to say that oxygen is viewable to a certain degree in certain circumstances, for instance under water you see bubble or if a wind blows in a place where there was fire and the fire is there no more, you are seeing oxygen. I say that because when you take the oxygen away again you see only water or only fire. To perceive God as always being with us is different than to say that God is like oxygen because God is so much more than oxygen and comes with us in places where there is no oxygen. God is so much more than our physical well being, God is the source of the idea of oxygen. It is true to say that no man can say he has seen God however in the same breath we know God is there because just like when the wind blows on a fire or oxygen bubbles are caught under water we can catch glimpses of God and His wonderful presence. Even as you are in the park and you meditate on His word and contemplate you can hear the wind rustle in the leaves but, hear His voice coming from deep calling to deep.
