She has also received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and holds the prestigious honor of being the only artist under the age of 30 included in Rolling Stone Magazine's list of the 100 greatest singers of all time. Additionally, in 2021 she received the inaugural Music Icon Award at the People's Choice Awards.
Aguilera has achieved five No. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart making her the fourth female artist to top the chart over three consecutive decades (1990s, 2000s, and 2010s).

Overall Meaning

In Christina Aguilera's song Vanity, the singer proudly flaunts her love for herself, singing about how she thinks she's the sexiest and most beautiful person in the world. She begins by telling us that she isn't cocky, but instead just loves herself. She then has a conversation with her mirror, asking who's the fliest bitch of them all, and answering it herself by saying that she is. She even goes as far as saying that if she were anyone else, she would kiss herself.

Christina then goes on to explain how she feels when she looks at herself every day, saying that she loves herself more each time. She claims that nobody can compare to her and says that she's the best for sure. She ends the song by exclaiming that she is a vain bitch and that she loves herself very much. Over the course of the song, Christina shows that she's completely confident with who she is and encourages others to love themselves just as much.
