Pinhal
Cidadão Quem Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Em que eles se encontraram
Na praia do pinhal
Que ela olhou pra ele
E disse baby
Não me leve a mal
Ele sempre foi
Um cara desses
Procurando encontrar
A solução pra tudo
Com muita paz
E agora o Pinhal
Não tem mais
A gente lá
Eu volto pra lembrar
Que a gente cresceu
Na beira do mar
Ela se formou
Há pouco tempo
E quem tocou na formatura
Fui eu
Ele faz meditação no parque
A procura do seu eu
Quando tenho tempo
Dou uma passada lá
Pra ver como estão
Se estou na Zona Norte
Pego a Estrada do Forte
Pro Meu irmão
The song "Pinhal" by Cidadão Quem talks about a young couple who spent their childhood by the sea in Pinhal. In the day they met on the beach, she looked at him and said, "Baby, don't get me wrong." He was always a guy who studied too much, looking for solutions to everything with peace. Now, Pinhal doesn't have them anymore, and she goes back to remember their childhood by the sea. She recently graduated, and he practices meditation in the park to find himself. The song is nostalgic and talks about the passing of time, growing up, and moving on from a place that was once home.
The lyrics show the transition from youth to early adulthood and how life paths can change, but memories and nostalgia remain. The song expresses the band's connection to the Pinhal beach, which was a popular destination for young people from southern Brazil in the '90s. The lyrics show a sense of longing for simpler times and a reflection on how people's lives change as they grow up.
