1. Circ are producer Alexander Perls (009 Sound System, Icebreaker International) and vocalist Madelin Lane (Madelin Zero). The two met at a Sonic Youth concert on The Bowery in New York City during the summer of 2001. Perls had been living in NYC since 1998, working for the American video artist Matthew Barney. Madelin had moved to NYC six months earlier, and was working for a midtown talent agent as a talent scout for the daytime soap operas. After some conversation, somehow it turned out that Perls was looking for a vocalist for a track he was producing and Madelin wanted to try some singing. He said he had a song called "Destroy She Said" which needed a vocalist. Perls and Madelin first recorded in Perls' basement studio in Chinatown, right near the East River in Lower Manhattan. The vocal tracks for "Destroy She Said" were all recorded during one very hot night during the summer of 2001, four months before the September 11th attacks. The lyrical reference to "the towers" is merely coincidental. Their debut album Love Electric was released in Germany in 2004. The duo disbanded shortly thereafter in 2005.
2. CIRC (François Rousseau) who can be found at http://circ.bandcamp.com/, is a French indie electronica artist who makes catchy, steady, abstract and experimental electronic songs with fascinating rhythmics, melodies & dirty sounds. His instrumental electronic songs tell so much with only a few elements without sounding repetitive. It's addictive and you just want more.
All Night

All right, all night
All night tonight
All right, all night
All night tonight
Alright
I look where I won't find
Dunno about your plans
I've seen you in a chance
Tonight I'm going out to find you
Lovin' just to win
Feeling's just a sin
Tonight I'm going out without you
All right, all night
All night tonight
All right, all night
All night tonight
Alright
(oooh, oowoaah, oooh)
I could feel you drop my hand
When the sea became new land
You were nearly out of sight
The day replaced the night
I could see you drifting far away
Lost track of time and place
Then I woke up to your face
And the words I'd thought you'd say
Alright
All right, all night
All night tonight
All right, all night
All night tonight
Alright
The song "All Night" by Circ is a song about trying to find love and failing to do so. The first verse talks about having movie stills in the singer's mind, and how he looks for love where he knows he won't find it. He doesn't know what the person he loves is planning, but he has seen them given a chance. The singer is going out trying to find love, but he knows it's just to win, and loving is just a sin. The second verse talks about how the singer knows he's seen the person he loves slipping away from him. He feels like he's lost track of time and place, but then he wakes up to the person he loves.
The chorus reiterates the point of the song. The singer is trying to find love tonight and he will be out all night, but he's not sure if he's doing the right thing. He repeats "alright" multiple times, which can be interpreted as trying to convince himself that what he's doing is right.
Overall, the song captures the feeling of trying to find love and the struggles of getting it right. It's a relatable song to anyone who has ever been in the dating world, and it's a reminder that sometimes things don't work out but there's always hope for another chance.
