Walking in my dreams today
I told you
Can you please just go away
Cause I know that every time I see your face
I forget everything you did
But I'm still holding on
But let me go
I saw you,
Walking in my dreams today
I told you
Can you please just go away
Cause I know that every time I see your face
I forget everything you did
But I'm still holding on
But let me go
In the first verse, the singer describes seeing someone in their dreams and feeling conflicted about their presence. They express a desire for the person to go away because every time they see their face, they are reminded of the pain and hurt caused by this individual. Despite this, the singer admits to still holding on to the memories and emotions associated with this person, but also acknowledges the need to let go for their own well-being.
The chorus, sung in French, adds another layer of meaning to the song. It suggests that beneath the person's exterior lies a reflection or a hidden truth. Although the singer feels distant from this truth, they believe that one day the truth will be revealed, possibly as the lyrics mention "when the rain falls." The lyrics also convey a sense of uncertainty and anxiety about how the singer will cope if this person is no longer in their life, implying a dependency or attachment to them.
The second verse further emphasizes the singer's willingness to let go of reason or logic in order to pursue their emotions. They declare that they have tried everything, indicating a sense of exhaustion from attempting to make sense of the situation. The singer acknowledges that nothing is perfect, but they still desire this person and offer their heart to them.
The repetition of the chorus and the final verse reinforces the theme of the conflicting emotions experienced by the singer. They continue to encounter the person in their dreams and express a wish for them to go away, but they also admit to the difficulty of forgetting everything this person has done. This repetition underscores the internal struggle and complexity of their feelings, highlighting the unresolved nature of the situation and their desire for release.

Moving through my imagination,
I told you
I expressed to you,
Can you please just go away
Could you kindly leave my presence
Cause I know that every time I see your face
Because I am aware that whenever I catch a glimpse of your countenance
I forget everything you did
I disregard all of your actions
But I'm still holding on
Yet I am still clinging on
But let me go
Yet permit me to release myself
Sous ta peau se cache un reflet
Beneath your skin lies a reflection
Trop loin pour le voir mais je sais
