DreamHaven, Your uncle was a wonderful man, and a VERY BIG part of my young, adult life😎. A friend to my mom and dad, me, and all my friends, Amber was little when we met in the eighties. Somewhere, I have great photos of him, at parties, card games, and clubs where he worked security. He was very photogenic.
He was my friend. And, at 6ft 8, my BIGGEST fan. Always professional, his physique got him work- as a cop, bodyguard, NFL lineman, bail bond agent, bounty hunter, model, actor, and all around gangster!
In the original, Burt Reynolds movie, "The Longest Yard", he was one of the football playing guards. I'd give anything now, to remember his jersey number, and see him in the film footage. Could you find out for me? I'd love to find, or make, an online tribute page to him. Of course, you may never read this. Either way, it felt good writing this, and remembering him today. I'll be looking for his other, YouTube videos next.

@doughesson Yes the incident with Kenny Chesney "stealing a police horse" is real. Happened in New York. I mean the horny cell mate part wasn't reported on though. I live kind of close to where the arrest happened so it was pretty big news(don't remember if it was really big nationally or not).

I love Tim McGraw. I always call him my celebrity sweetheart. And love Kenny Chesney. But I had no idea either of them were in jail. It does make me happy that they were willing to go to jail and not throw the "do you even know who we are" card that you see celebrities throwing. Than just getting community service. I still love both of them. Song did not change my mind. Love King George and Tracy Lawrence too.

I'm pretty sure the cops knew who they were, trying to throw that card wasn't going to help at that point. I mean Tim did assault a cop, trying to say hey I'm a big name isn't going to help you. As to Kenny Chesney if I remember correctly he claimed he thought he had permission. I'm too lazy to read up on the incident, but I think that was his claim.

I understand why you think this. But think about other celebrities. The ones who were caught with a DUI or DWI. The cops know who they are (as long as cop has tv) and because they pulled the "celebrity card" they got community service with little to no jail time.
Celebrities (or at least most of them) can commit almost any crime and hardly get penalized for it.

@kathleen chambers It wasn't so much the cops wouldn't have recognized them, it was this was right after the concert. This wasn't being pulled over and yeah the cop saw your license and knows the name. It's obvious you are famous when the cop is there because of you. Also they really didn't end up getting in that much trouble. So saying well others just get community service for throwing out you know who I am would make it sound like they actually got something more.
