I met proof in 2001, some friends and I were on a flight from London to NY and proof was with D12 on the same flight as us. It was a week after 9/11 and our flight received a bomb threat mid flight so our flight was diverted to Goose bay in Newfoundland(while being escorted by four F-18s fighter jets🤦‍♂️). We ended up staying the night there in an army airbase while our plane was being checked for explosives.The airline brought all passengers to a hall in the town to feed us. In that hall, there was a pool table and we ended up playing pool with proof & D12 and drank free beer on the airline all night. Was such a great memory and proof/D12 were really nice guys, crazy to think he was killed over a game of pool 5 years later.

Just 'ONE' of the things that's so unique about Em... He's hilarious in his vids. When you look at other old school rappers, groups, you see vids of shootings, murder, pimping, drugs, guns, violence. Not dissing that cause I love Cube, Dr, NWA, Pac, etc. Yeah Em has Toy Soldiers, Stan, The Way I Am, etc, but he proved you don't have to always shove violence in faces to make good rap. It can be comical, and still be awesome.
And it's hilarious that critics, tv, the public attacked him, and just fueled his career. Em is the GOAT of rap (sorry, Pac, gotta keep it real).
