For me, the song is about a girlfriend and boyfriend at a zombie outbreak. They’re both fine for the first few days until the girlfriend gets the virus on Valentine’s Day, she regains some consciousness, and not knowing that she was infected, she goes to her boyfriend’s house to be comforted. She bites him and infects him, and they both transform and subsequently decompose as they rapidly become too brain-dead to understand why, eventually the girl has a zombie form of terminal lucidity before her actual death, meaning that she understood it all before she died. This is just my interpretation though

I’ve been listening to this for half an hour now and keep digging in to it’s FX,illustrations and the overall making of the song. Gotta say Ollie did a great job with the chorus which is my 2nd favorite part. Otoiro killed it with the animation and Deco*27 took such a simple concept and made it interesting which in this case is “love” and adding “zombie apocalypse “ into it. Love the song
