Desde que te Fuiste

no tenia ganas de levantarme temprano
me dejaste solo triste y embriagado
yo solo y confundido
se fue el dolor
y desperte
y pude ver
The lyrics of Daiquiri's song "Desde que te Fuiste" describe the transformation of the singer's life after a breakup. He expresses the initial pain and sadness he felt when his partner left him, but also how this experience ultimately allowed him to grow and find happiness. The first verse describes how the singer's life has changed since his partner left - he didn't want to wake up early anymore and felt alone and intoxicated. However, with time he started to feel better, and the pain he had been experiencing disappeared. He hadn't seen the light of day until she left.
The second verse shows the singer's growth and acceptance of the breakup. He claims that he's forgotten his past lover and is happy that she's gone. He now feels free and carefree, and prefers this lifestyle to the one he had before. The repetitiveness of the chorus emphasizes the newfound joy and freedom that the singer is experiencing. The song overall is an anthem of empowerment for individuals who have experienced heartbreak.
