No human words can express my feelings while listening to this music. All I can certainly say is that I have constant waves of shivers covering my whole body, while also feeling that I'm flying very, very high to the distant sky. It's like you're participating in something immensely great, the lifework of the whole civilization.
Truly Damjan is an amazing composer, he always gives my life an epic and sacred meaning ever since I first heard his music about 12 years ago in Serious Sam. What a great feeling this is! Like it was said in The Talos Principle, simple yet beautiful things like someone's music, give you a clear understanding on how great it is to be a human!

To me this is one of the best pieces of sound design in any game ever. Climbing the tower and the music adapting to how close you are to the destruction chasing you from below is genious. I get goosebumps every time I hear this song. Epic!!

Loved the game from start to finish, though I still have yet to collect all those pesky stars. But considering the philosophy, the visuals, the story and the music, it seriously was something out of this world. This has become one of my all time favorites. A masterpiece in all aspects, no doubt.

Unfortunately this part of the game glitched up on me and I couldn't proceed without using console commands to cheat my way through the first barrier.

Ruined the immersion but I immediately turned the cheat off after passing through.

To me being independent is not blindly following someone that orders you around so the ending where you defy Elohim is the one which eccomplishes that in my opinion. Either way, as a conscious being you're never independent and free as society's "free will" dogma implies. One will always be influenced by their (genetic) code and environment. That's why I wasn't even interested in what choice meant in the game. In a meta sense you don't even have free choice as all your choices are scripted. What I got from the game is that life is worth living even if one doesn't have free will just as a game is worth playing even if it's scripted.

The song is just great that is a bit of a shame that the song had to be designed to go based on how slow you are against the time you have available before dying to the cloud storm of Elohim.
A good way to do it would have been if you program it so the song progresses as you climb instead, though I'm not a game developer so I don't know how complex would that be.

tudy000 It's not part of the soundtrack, like many other tunes that are used on specific occasions in-game. You can rename .gro files in your Talos installation folder to .zip files and unzip them and get all music you want
