Don't think about the consequences
Throw me in the dirt pit
Don't think about the choices that you make
Throw me in the water
Don't think about the splash I will create
Leave me at the altar
Knowing all the things you just escaped
Push me out to sea
On a little boat that you made out of the evergreen
That you helped your father cut away
Leave me on the tracks
To wait until the morning train arrives
Don't you dare look back
Walk away
Catch up with the sunrise
'Cause this is torturous
Electricity between both of us
And this is dangerous
'Cause I want you so much
But I hate your guts, I hate you
So leave me in the cold
Wait until the snow covers me up
So I cannot move
So I'm just embedded in the frost
Then leave me in the rain
Wait until my clothes cling to my frame
Wipe away your tear stains
Thought you said you didn't feel pain
Well this is torturous
Electricity between both of us
And this is dangerous
'Cause I want you so much
But I hate your guts
I want you so much
But I hate your guts
Well this is torturous
Electricity between both of us
And this is dangerous
'Cause I want you so much
But I hate your guts
I want you so much
But I hate your guts
The lyrics of Daughter's song Landfill are powerful and intense, depicting the emotions felt by someone who is stuck in a complicated and painful relationship. The first verse talks about being thrown away like garbage, not considering the consequences or the choices made. The different scenarios presented - being thrown into a landfill, dirt pit, water or left at the altar - illustrate the worthlessness and insignificance that the person feels, as well as the desperation to be rid of it all.
The second verse is equally as intense, with the suggestion that the person wants to be left to die. Being pushed out to sea or left on the train tracks is being equated with being left to fend for oneself in the face of danger. The chorus then brings forth mixed emotions, the person feels electricity between them and their partner, but at the same time, it is torturous and dangerous. The person wants the partner so much but hates them, representing the tumultuous nature of their relationship.
The bridge then follows the same pattern of describing the pain and suffering that the person is feeling. They want to be left in the cold, until they are buried in snow, so they cannot move. They want to be left in the rain, until their clothes stick to their bodies, and only then have their partner wipe away their tear stains. The ending of the song emphasizes the contradiction between wanting to be with someone so much and yet, hating them so deeply.

Throw me in a landfill
Get rid of me like trash
Don't think about the consequences
Without considering the impact of it
Throw me in a dirt pit
Treat me like dirt without much regard
Don't think about the choices that you make
No consideration given to the options available
Throw me in the water
Discard me recklessly
Don't think about the splash I will create
Ignoring the consequences of the action taken
Leave me at the altar
Abandon me in a difficult situation
Knowing all the things you just escaped
Fully aware of what has been left behind
Push me out to sea
Send me away from you
On a little boat that you made out of the evergreen
On a makeshift vessel from your resources
That you helped your father cut away
From the resources provided by someone else
Leave me on the tracks
Abandon me in a vulnerable spot
To wait until the morning train arrives
Until it's too late to escape
Don't you dare look back
Leave without turning around
Walk away
Leave and never return
Catch up with the sunrise
Move on to a new day without me
'Cause this is torturous
The situation is painful
Electricity between both of us
The intense and nervous energy between us
And this is dangerous
The situation is risky
'Cause I want you so much
Despite it all, I still desire you
But I hate your guts, I hate you
I despise you despite my feelings
So leave me in the cold
Abandon me in a harsh environment
Wait until the snow covers me up
Don't come back until it's too late
So I cannot move
Trapped and immobile
So I'm just embedded in the frost
Stuck in a state of frozenness
Then leave me in the rain
Leave me exposed and vulnerable
Wait until my clothes cling to my frame
Until there's no escape from the situation
Wipe away your tear stains
Don't show any remorse
Thought you said you didn't feel pain
I thought you claimed to be emotionless
'Cause this is torturous
Again, the situation is unbearable
Electricity between both of us
There's still a spark of connection
And this is dangerous
It's still a dangerous situation
'Cause I want you so much
Despite everything, I still crave you
But I hate your guts
But I still detest who you are
I want you so much
I still want to be with you
But I hate your guts
But I can't stand who you are

i think at some point we all have that one person who no matter how bad he/she destroyed us, we still love him, and though we know we hate him/her, we still want them back.
