Soft spoken guy (x6)
You're my soft spoken guy,
With your dreamy eyes.
You never have to say much, you only have to touch my hand and I understand.
My, my, my, my, my, my soft spoken guy.
With your spoken eyes,
Used to call you shy.
Until you took me dancin' thats when I got a chance to see how wild you can be.
My, my, my, my, my, soft spoken guy.
Looks deceive baby 'cause you're the strong and silent type.
Who'd believe the way you drive me, drive me out of my mind!
Feels so good I could cry, so I can't deny,
The reason why I'm livin' is for the love you're givin' me;
Oh please always be my, my, my, my, my soft spoken guy.

My sister had her Navy Blue album and I listened to it constantly. She should have had more hits.

There are several things about
this excellent song that strongly echo the Supremes'
terrific "A Breathtaking Guy", or the
reverse. The similarity really
sounds more blatant than
"My Sweet Lord" & "He's So
Fine", but as a listener I just
relish this, anyway.
