La Aplanadora del Rock is known for mixing rock with Argentine folk music, and hard-to-get lyrics. The most successful point on the band's career came with the 1993 record La era de la boludez.
Other than founding members Mollo and Arnedo, different drummers have completed the normal trio: 1988 to 1990, Gustavo Collado; 1990 to 1995, Federico Gil Solá; 1995 to 2004, Jorge Araujo; and since 2004, Catriel Ciavarella.
The name of the band is taken from Sumo's favourite band and influences (the late Ian Curtis was a good friend of Luca Prodan) - Joy Division.
The band has recorded a number of covers, such as Voodoo Child by Jimi Hendrix and Light My Fire by The Doors. Covers not committed to CD include I Want You (She's So Heavy) and Day Tripper by The Beatles. In their shows, Divididos has played songs such as "Rock and Roll" and "Moby Dick" (Led Zeppelin), and "Little Wing" (Jimi Hendrix). The band also covers some Sumo songs, usually in medley format.

Éxodo hepático a la frontera con capital
Charter de bebes hacia ese bao ensordecido
De ingresos brutos beso al anden:
Quien, se ha tomado todo el vino
Quien, se ha tomado todo el vino
Rush en la boca paz en colon
Se amilano no hay mas lagunas
Ni botelleros na hay mas carozos
Ni correrías paro el remis
Quien, se ha tomado todo el vino
Quien, se ha tomado todo el vino
Quien, se ha tomado todo el vino
Quien, se ha tomado todo el vino
Quien, se ha tomado todo el vino
Quien, se ha tomado todo el vino
These lyrics from Divididos's song "Sobrio A Las Piñas/Quien Se Tomo Todo El Vino" depict a scene of chaos and excess. The opening lines suggest news headlines reporting on a liver exodus to the border with the capital city, referring to people leaving their hometown to seek better opportunities or escape their problems. The mention of a charter for babies to a deafening bath (bao ensordecido) implies a sense of decadence and disregard for responsibility. The phrase "ingresos brutos beso al anden" can be interpreted as a criticism of a society or government system that prioritizes wealth and profits over human well-being.
The chorus repeats the question "Who has drunk all the wine?" multiple times, pointing to a metaphorical representation of those who indulge in excess and take everything for themselves. The following verses speak of someone leaving a flower soberly with punches (sobrio a las piñas), suggesting they are the only one remaining in control or with a clear mind amidst the chaos. The references to Rush in the mouth (Rush being a brand of poppers associated with drug use) and peace in the colon (possibly a play on words referring to both inner peace and the large intestine) emphasize a conflicting contrast between pleasure-seeking and tranquility.
In summary, these lyrics critique a society characterized by excess, irresponsible behavior, and the disregard for those left behind. The repeated question about who has consumed all the wine serves as a metaphor for the selfishness and greed that drive such behavior.
