When I look out my window

Many sites to see
I’m surrounded by an abundance of things to observe.

Despite staying at one place, there are endless possibilities to explore and opportunities to experience different lifestyles.

So many different people to be
I can transform into numerous personalities and live life through their lens

It's strange
All these experiences and observations are surreal and out of the ordinary

It’s even stranger than one can imagine

You got to pick up every stitch
Every small detail requires attention and care. One must be diligent in every task.

Must be the season
It seems like a particular period or phase in time.

The season of the witch
The time when people make impulsive decisions and are influenced by their emotions, rather than rational thinking.

When I look over my shoulder
When I glance backward or reminisce on the past

What do you think I see
I encounter different people or scenarios that help me retrospect and gather learnings

Some other cat looking over
I notice someone else observing me or keeping a watch on my actions.

His shoulder right at me
This person is standing so close, with shoulders parallel to mine, that it gives me the creeps.

Surely strange
It's odd or unbelievable.

Beatniks are out to make it rich
People are being opportunistic and pursuing their benefits through heedless means, even if it means going against their ethics.

Oh, no
I don't appreciate it, and it's not acceptable.

Rabbit's runnin' in the ditch
Amidst the chaos, even the smallest creatures are running for their survival.

It's a time when individuals are led by their emotions and aren't conforming to societal norms.
