The only change in the band's lineup was the addition of the American vocalist Michael Vescera (Loudness, Yngwie Malmsteen) in the Dr. Sin II times (2000). Vescera only remained in the band for a short time as he soon left the band to start his own solo project.
The band has released a total of 10 albums, including American/Japanese/European versions and singles. They released Listen to the Doctors, in 2005, an album that contains only covers songs with the word "Doctor" in their titles. In 2007, the band released Bravo, after almost seven years without any new songs released.

Child of Sin
Dr. Sin Lyrics

By the side of the tracks
I was a scrappy little kid
I sat at the knees of beggars and thieves
I knew exactly what they did, shame
Really kinda sad
I never knew how bad it was
I came of age
Broke off my cage
I said I never would go back, no
But deep within
I'm still a child of sin
From the wrong side of the tracks, shame
Everywhere I roam
I carry my old home - with me
Child of sin
I've got no hope - No master to follow
Scar on my soul - That never can heal
Living on the dark - No salvation
Find a way out, can't find a way out - No way out
The lyrics of Dr. Sin's song "Child of Sin" describe the experiences of someone who was born into a life of hardship, poverty, and crime. The singer describes being born on their back, by the side of the tracks, and growing up as a scrappy little kid who learned the ways of beggars and thieves. Although the singer knew what they were doing was wrong, they were still drawn to that way of life.
As the singer grew older, they tried to break free from their past and never return to that life. However, they cannot escape the fact that they are still a child of sin, marked by their past and unable to escape the scars it left on their soul. They carry their old home with them wherever they go and cannot find a way out of the darkness and lack of hope that surrounds them.
Overall, "Child of Sin" is a melancholy reflection on the difficult childhood experiences that shape us, and the struggle many face to overcome their past and find a path to a better future.
