The only change in the band's lineup was the addition of the American vocalist Michael Vescera (Loudness, Yngwie Malmsteen) in the Dr. Sin II times (2000). Vescera only remained in the band for a short time as he soon left the band to start his own solo project.
The band has released a total of 10 albums, including American/Japanese/European versions and singles. They released Listen to the Doctors, in 2005, an album that contains only covers songs with the word "Doctor" in their titles. In 2007, the band released Bravo, after almost seven years without any new songs released.

Someone to Blame
Dr. Sin Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Because it's easy to see
That you don't have what it takes
To back it up
You think I'm gonna freeze
And beg you don't hurt me please
If you think that
You better think again
No matter how much you pry
No matter how hard you try
You will never bring me to your level
You wanna take a stand
You just don't understand
That you are fighting the wrong war
Can't let it go - Can't take it slow
Don't wanna sink to your plane
I can let it go - I won't sink that low
You just want someone to blame
You really don't scare me
Because it's easy to see
That you don't have what it takes
To back it up
You think I'm gonna freeze
And beg you don't hurt me please
If you think that
You better think again
Can't let it go
Can't take it slow
You just can't keep it contained
I can let it go
I won't sink that low
Can't get it through your thick brain
Can't you be wrong
Don't wanna take you on
Don't wanna sink to your plane
Can't let it go
Can't take it slow
Friend there's nothing to gain
I can let it go
Don't have to sink so low
How can I make it more plain
The lyrics of the song Someone to Blame by Dr. Sin are about standing up to someone who is trying to intimidate and bully you. The singer is telling the person that they don’t scare them and that they won’t give in to their threats. The song has a message of empowerment and encourages people to stand up for themselves, even in the face of adversity.
The lyrics use metaphors, such as “you just don’t have what it takes to back it up” and “you are fighting the wrong war,” to suggest that the person’s actions are empty and misguided. The use of repetition, such as “can’t let it go,” emphasizes the singer’s determination to resist the bully’s attempts to intimidate them.
The chorus reinforces the message of the song, with the singer declaring that they won't sink to the level of the bully and be someone to blame. The lyrics convey a sense of self-reliance and confidence, urging listeners to believe in themselves and not be afraid to stand up to those who try to oppress them.
Overall, Someone to Blame is a powerful song that encourages self-empowerment and standing up to bullies.
