i know, its crazy how once i thought Dragonforce was so cool and i thought thats what power metal was, and now, 5 years later i realize they blew all along lol, but if it weren't for them i may have never entered my power metal phase and found out what real power metal is with AMAZING bands such as this. so for that i guess i have to be thankful for DF in some weird way... Supernova is still my favorite PM song that i think i've ever heard. a close second would be "Triumph or Agony" by Rhapsody

Dream Theater and Symphony X imo hold the Progressive metal crown, but no band in the power/symphonic genre comes close to the quality of Dragonland. Sadly metal will never become #1 in popularity again, but it will definitely never die. Instead the radio and TV need to blast music about fuckheads rolling in hot cars and women, or some bitch on a piano singing about a break-up every single song she writes. Blame modern pop and RNB for this atrocity.

i suppose it got kind of like that for me when i realized just how insanely huge everything is and how long it actually takes light to travel even when its the fastest thing the universe. something along the lines of what lovecraft used, i guess.

I likened it to looking down from a mountain top and how small everything seems yet I know the distance is vast... that is the same thing looking the milkyway, you are looking at these comprehensibly vast distances

i don't really want to see it go mainstream.i want people to understand us.many people don't know anything about metal.they think metal is only about growling,death and satanism.metalheads will be discriminated rather than other music fans. for example:in my class my friend and i are the only metalheads in our class.we talked with our teacher about music we like.our teacher wanted to know wich bands i listen and i mentioned names like blind guardian and dragonland and guess what:everyone laughed
