Je cherche jour et nuit
Je cherche à comprendre
Je retrace tes courbes
Les souvenirs de tes plaisirs
Je fais des rechutes à loccasion
Me reste que des esquisses pornographiques
Hé, hé...
On veut faire de moi quelquun
Ça me pèse chaque jour
Tu me poursuis dans ma fuite
Le parfum que tu mas laissé
Me revient de temps en temps
Il ny a plus rien dinvitant
Je fais des rechutes à loccasion
Me reste que des esquisses pornographiques
De nos élans interrompus
Hé, hé...
Isolé au nord de tout
Je cherche jour et nuit
Je fais des rechutes à loccasion...
Me reste que des esquisses pornographiques
De nos élans interrompus
The song "Vision pornographique" by Dumas is a reflection on the lingering memories of a past lover. The song opens with the singer feeling isolated, searching day and night for understanding. He recalls the curves and pleasures of his former partner, and these memories fuel a deep sense of desire that he struggles to keep at bay. However, he is only left with rough sketches of their erotic encounters, which leaves him feeling unsatisfied and craving for more. The lyrics suggest that this is a cycle he goes through regularly, and though he seeks to escape, he is haunted by the perfume and memory of his lover.
As the song progresses, the singer struggles with the weight of societal expectations placed upon him. He ponders how others want to shape him, but he resists these efforts. His past lover continues to pursue him even as he tries to run away, and the fragrance she left behind serves as a reminder of their disconnected past. The song ends on a melancholy tone, with the singer continuing to search for answers to his complicated emotions.
Overall, "Vision pornographique" is a rumination on the complexities of desire and memory, and how they are intertwined in our lives.
