Their style was based on an acoustic and simple pop-rock with a touch of rockabilly in great contrast with the more radical rock played in the area at the time. After being hired by 'Grabaciones Accidentales, S.A.' they contributed with two songs (Mi Amor and Bésame Mucho) to the new bands compilation La única alternativa (The Only Alternative).
In 1985 they recorded their first album, Por Tierras Escocesas (Around Scottish Lands), and Canciones (Songs) a year later, both produced by Paco Trinidad. The songs were immediately successful and gave them big popularity. After even more successful El Grito del Tiempo (The Cry of Time, 1984) and Grabaciones Olvidadas (Forgotten Recordings, a compilation of B-Sides, 1989) they became a duo and recorded the double album Autobiografía (Autobiography), with collaborations by Black and Sam Brown among others. They later also had several hits such as "Esos Ojos Negros" ("Those Black Eyes"). They finally came to a close as a band with their final cd, "Crepúsculo y Crudités" (Sunset and Crudités [1]) which was more orchestrated and softer than their older music.
Their most known hit is "En Algún Lugar" ("In Some Place"). The song was initially featured in Canciones, but it was the remix included in El Grito del Tiempo that became widely popular.

Doscientos brazos, mandan el taller
La maquinaria está que puede arder
Supernova
Saliendo del portal a plena luz
Aquella guapa chica de color
Era un domingo más cuando ocurrió
Hoy se oirán los gritos de guerra
Hoy vendrán los mismos que ayer
Quienes no tienen má que perder
En una casa ayer se descubrió
Un cuerpo muerto bajo la pared
Su propia bomba fue la que explotó
Supernova
Dónde irán los ojos guardianes
No podrán salir ni escapar
Apartate algo puede estallar
Uh, hierro candente
Uh, miradas calientes
Uh, corre a esconderte
Supernova
The song "Supernova" by Spanish band Duncan Dhu holds a deep and powerful meaning hidden behind its powerful instrumentation and vocals. The lyrics depict the depths of a prison where two hundred arms control the machinery that is about to explode. The line "Supernova" serves as a metaphor for the chaos and destruction that will ensue if something isn't done to stop it. The second verse introduces a woman of color who exits a portal, perhaps signifying a new beginning or hope amidst the darkness. However, the uncertainty and despair still linger as the chorus warns of impending war and the arrival of those with nothing left to lose.
The third verse recounts a grim discovery of a dead body under a wall, with the implication that the person's own bomb caused the explosion. The final lines of the song convey a sense of urgency and danger, with the image of hot iron, intense gazes, and a warning to hide. Overall, "Supernova" touches on themes of powerlessness, social unrest, and the consequences of our actions.
