Emilio Lyrics

Neues Ich, selber Ort, lass mir nichts gefall'n
Andrer Dad, beide weg
The lyrics of Emilio's song "Fallen" depict the struggle of a young person to find their place in the world. The song starts with a memory of a time when the singer and their partner were living together in a small apartment in Berlin. The image of the small bed compared to the tiny apartment highlights the limitations of their situation. The next verse jumps forward to a new year, a new class, and a new set of challenges. The singer is struggling to fit in and is constantly fighting back tears. They take every obstacle in their path and use it to build a "castle" that will stand forever, but no one believes in their dreams. The chorus repeats the line "they want to see me fall, me alone against everyone," emphasizing the loneliness and isolation the person feels.
As the song progresses, the singer describes how they have transformed themselves to survive their environment. They use violence to protect themselves on the way to school and come home to a family that is falling apart. Their mother is crying, and they are too high to come home. They have no time for their little brother, and they share a common tragedy with an absent father. Despite these challenges, the singer is determined to keep going on their own path.
The final chorus repeats the same theme, "I alone against everyone," but with more power and defiance. The song ends on a hopeful note, with the singer standing strong against the obstacles in their path.
