1) Emmi Kangasjärvi is a Finnish singer-songwriter who sings in English. She was born on October 10, 1979 in Vilppula, Finland. She became famous thanks to her single Breakable, which was released in February 2001. In May 2001 her second single Crashing Down and her debut album Solitary Motions were released. Two other quite well known songs from that album are Green Car and Solitary Motions. She was nominated as the Best Nordic Act by MTV Europe Music Awards in 2001. However, the award was won by the Danish band Safri Duo.
There are two versions of Emmi's second album No Nothing. The first one was released only for Finnish market in October 2002. The second one was released for international as well as Finnish market in early 2003. The differences between the versions are the order of songs and the fact that the second version contains two tracks that are not contained in the first version, namely Into The World and World Is Crazy. Conversely, the song Toss Me Down is contained in the first version but not in the second one.
The single Eileen was released in 2005. On October 5, 2005, Emmi's third album Can Full of Joy was released.
2) Emily Joy Green, known by her stage name Emmi, is a British-Australian singer and songwriter.
Emily Green was born in Torquay, Devon, England, the middle child of an older brother and a younger sister. The daughter of a pilot, she travelled extensively as a very young child, living in far flung places such as Papua New Guinea and Alice Springs. Moving school nine times before settling in Perth, Australia, Emmi got used to feeling like the outsider and began to focus on her love of dancing, and left home at the age of 16 to study dance full-time in Sydney.
Green began her musical career after being signed to a music publisher in Australia, writing songs for Neil Davidge of Massive Attack and Little Nikki.
Green cites classical music, jazz and Shirley Temple movies as her influences.

Little Town
Emmi Lyrics
Moon is a silver ball
Moon is a golden shore
It climbs over little town
Winter is cold and long
Winter is blue and strong
It lays over, over little town
Watch your breathing
No one is on the streets
They all are fast asleep
Like time is here
Oh, little town
Watch your breathing
I'm here standing on
I'm here standing on fire, fire
Not like the others
I'm here standing on
I'm here standing on fire
Unlike the others
Far and away i'm gone
Far and away alone I can't be still
No, oh little town
Must I, must I simplify
Must I, must I tell you why
Must I, must I simplify
Must I, must I tell you why
Moon is a golden shore
It climbs over little town
Winter is cold and long
Winter is blue and strong
It lays over, over little town
Watch your breathing
No one is on the streets
They all are fast asleep
Like time is here
Oh, little town
Watch your breathing
I'm here standing on
I'm here standing on fire, fire
Not like the others
I'm here standing on
I'm here standing on fire
Unlike the others
Far and away i'm gone
Far and away alone I can't be still
No, oh little town
Must I, must I simplify
Must I, must I tell you why
Must I, must I simplify
Must I, must I tell you why

I completely agree! I have several little libraries around my neighborhood, and at least one of them is from the non-profit shown in the video. I think I may start one now -- thanks!
