Empathy Test released a double A-side single, Demons | Seeing Stars on September the 9th, 2016, which featured featured remixes by Sidewalks And Skeletons and MNYNMS, before embarking on a European tour on 16th September. Empathy Test recruited live drummer Christina Lopez and keyboard player Jacob Ferguson Lobo to accompanying Isaac on the tour. They continued to perform with Isaac until April 2017, when Jacob was replaced by Sam Winter-Quick. The band then released another single, By My Side with b-side Vampire Town and remixes by New Portals and Papertwin on February 17th, 2017. A third single, Bare My Soul was released 21st April, 2017, to coincide with a second European tour.
Empathy Test are currently crowd funding two debut albums plus a final single via PledgeMusic: http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/empathy-test-album/. They are slated for release on 17th November. The first album, Losing Touch, will feature all the original 2014 EP tracks plus Demons and two previously unreleased tracks, Siamese and Sleep. Safe From Harm will feature all the singles (minus Demons) plus new tracks Safe From Harm, All It Takes, Trampoline, Everything Will Work Out and Burroughs & Bukowski. The band previously stated that Safe From Harm, the album title track, would be the final single. However, it is now looking like the final single will be Everything Will Work Out.
Sleep
Empathy Test Lyrics

Don't leave me alone or we′ll never know.
Stay here for a while, let's sleep
Don't wake me up ′cause I need to dream.
I need to sleep and to dream.
Stay here for a while, let′s weep
There is too much sorrow for me to keep
Inside of me
I am, not in love
These feelings will just fade away.
I am, not in love
These feelings will just fade away
And though I think of you here today
You're further and further away.
Stay here for a while, don′t go
Don't leave me alone or we′ll never know.
Stay here for a while, let's sleep
Don′t wake me up 'cause I need to dream.
I am, not in love
These feelings will just fade away.
I am not in love
These feelings will just fade away
And though I think of you here today
You're further and further away.
The lyrics of Empathy Test's "Sleep" paint a picture of someone who yearns for their partner's companionship and urges them not to leave. The singer wants them to stay for a little while longer and sleep with them, as they feel the need to dream. They express their vulnerability by saying that there is too much sorrow for them to keep inside, and they need to weep. The line "I am not in love" may suggest that the singer is uncertain about their feelings or trying to convince themselves that they do not have romantic feelings for their partner. They admit that their emotions will likely fade away, but they still think of the person, which leaves them feeling distant and longing for their presence.
Overall, the song captures the emotional and surreal experience of sleep, where thoughts and feelings are not always clear and can be confusing. The singer's yearning for their partner's companionship is a relatable theme that many can identify with. They desire comfort, protection, and the ability to escape their worries through sleep.

I don't understand why this type of music isn't more popular as it deserved to be. Instead we have massive amounts of people listening to the crap served daily by dumb mainstream radio stations and the so-called music tv. How can people be so deaf to good music? Dua Lipa, Cardi B or whatever they call those shit artists - they have to GOOOO!
