Det hele startet i 2002 da Erik Mortvedt og Kristoffer Tømmerbakke skrev sin første sang legenden, en slags lydsporet til sitt siste år på high school. Det var da de laget sin første nettside og delt musikken gratis at deres fanbase virkelig tok av.

Led by the massive success of the single Dra tilbake, which earned the boys their first platinum disc, Erik and Kriss had become Norway’s new pop favourites. This was further underlined when their second single, Det e'kke meg det er deg, also turned out to be a huge success, earning them their second platinum disc.
All Erik and Kriss’s singles have been heavily rotated on radio stations, and their music videos have attracted millions of views on YouTube.
In 2012, ten years after Erik & Kriss’s first hit, they had released four albums, dozens of singles (several gold and platinum, three triple platinum, two four-times platinum, and one six-times platinum), held more than 500 concerts all over Norway and abroad, been awarded prizes such as the NRJ Award for Best Group and the MTV EMA Best Norwegian Act award, as well as attracting more than ten million views on YouTube.
In March 2013, it is time for a new Norwegian tour, several new singles and the release of their fifth album “FEM”.
